Based in London and established in 1995, East is an award-winning architecture, landscape, and urban design practice. In 2020, East started their journey with BIM to ensure that their projects and collaborative capacity were in-line with current industry standards and requirements.

East secured a large residential project near Elephant and Castle, Southeast London and wanted to apply the BIM process to the same. However, they faced multiple challenges, including:
1. Technical capacity and capability development to meet project BIM requirements.
2. Acquiring new Revit licenses and computers.
3. Setting up and configuring Revit for professional use within a limited timeframe.
4. Ensuring ISO 19650 compliance and implementing BIM processes for the new project.
