Stiff & Trevillion Architects recognized the need to transition to BIM in 2017. Like many practices, they initially contemplated hiring a BIM Manager to guide them through this transition. This approach, while common, was beginning to show its limitations, especially in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Stiff & Trevillion Architects entered into a unique partnership with us in February 2018. Acting as an in-house BIM Manager under a consultancy contract, our experts provided the necessary BIM management support without the administrative overhead of traditional employment contracts. This approach offered Stiff & Trevillion the innovation, development, implementation, and support they needed, all within the budget originally allocated for a traditional BIM Manager.

Within the first six months, this partnership achieved significant milestones

Updates and adjustments to meet ISO 19650 standards, with preparations for emerging standards, including those related to Fire and Structural Safety.
As of the fourth quarter of 2021, Stiff & Trevillion, in collaboration with DDC Solutions, continues to drive and enhance project planning, development, and delivery capabilities, consistently pushing boundaries.
Comprehensive training and support for Stiff & Trevillion’s Revit teams and projects.
Coordination of Revit development and implementation with existing Vectorworks standards to ensure platform alignment.

Conclusion
